Born in the UK’s Black Country and shaped by East African roots, my journey into music started at home, surrounded by parents who were true music buffs. Our soundtrack was anything but limited — from disco, funk, reggae, jazz, soca and calypso to Indian sounds, African rhythms, rock and soft rock. Growing up with such a diverse musical palette taught me early on that great music has no boundaries.

I started spinning vinyl alongside my dad, learning not just the craft of DJing, but the importance of selecting music with feeling, understanding the room and telling a story through sound. That foundation continues to influence how I approach every set today.

Now based in Toronto, my DJ journey has taken me across the Middle East, the Caribbean and Canada. At the heart of my sound is House music, particularly Afro House, Deep House and Soulful House, while my wider musical upbringing continues to shape the way I select and blend records.

I’m drawn to music with groove, soul and rhythm — sounds that can move a dancefloor while still carrying emotion and character. My sets can travel across genres, eras and cultures, but the common thread is always the same: great music, carefully selected and mixed with feeling.

For me, DJing is more than playing records. It’s about creating a journey — connecting people through music, bringing different influences together and creating those moments when the whole room moves as one.
