Shants Selecta

Hi, I’m Shantell, the DJ behind Soul Fresh 🎧❤️ I got into DJing in 2022, and honestly, I didn’t realise how much I would enjoy it. What started as something new quickly became something I was really passionate about.  I love music, full stop! 😍 I’m a soulful music specialist, but I don’t like putting myself in a box. You can catch me playing R&B, Neo Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk, Rare Groove, Broken Beat, Soulful House, Afro House and plenty of feel-good classics.

I’m also a bit of a music digger 😂. I love finding those tracks that you haven’t heard for years, the forgotten gems and the songs that make you turn around and say, “Oooo, I remember this one!”  For me, DJing isn’t just about pressing play. It’s about reading the room, knowing when to lift the energy, when to bring it back down and creating an atmosphere where people can relax, have fun and enjoy themselves.  Whether I’m playing at a birthday, wedding, private party, corporate event, or just bringing the vibes online, I like to make sure the music feels right for the people in front of me.

I’m all about good music, good people and GOOD VIBES! 🥰🎶  This is Soul Fresh — music, vibes, and a little bit of Shants sprinkled on top! ✨🎧❤️
